Remedial Massage Therapist- Mick
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new Remedial Massage Therapist, Mick, to Palm Beach Chiropractic and Remedial. Mick gained his Remedial Massage qualifications from QAcademy, Bundall in 2016. Mick has a long background in the sporting field as a Sports Trainer/Strapper for Local Rugby League and Representative teams. Mick also works part-time as a Remedial Therapist/Trainer for the Gold Coast Titans under 18's Elite programs working alongside other Trainers and Physiotherapists. From this, Mick has a broad knowledge of sporting injuries, rehabilitation/strength and conditioning programs. Mick is conversant with many techniques such as Trigger Point, Muscle Energy Technique, Positional Release Technique, Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Remedial Massage, Myofascial Release, Kinesiology Taping and Rigid Taping.
Mick is also currently studying in his Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy at QAcademy.

Remedial Massage Therapist- Josie
Josie completed her massage training In Sweden in January 2013 and have since worked in various clinics and health centres in Europe and Australia. With a strong interest in sports, Josie has always enjoyed working on sporting strains and injuries. However, she is a strong believer in the benefit of a holistic approach to health and wellness, and so also uses massage and manual therapies to assist, psycho-emotional wellbeing such as stress, anxiety, sleep disturbances as well as digestive discomfort and headaches.
Josie uses a combination of massage styles including Remedial, Sports, and Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Points, Tuina ( Traditional Chinese Medicine therapeutic massage), as well as more gentle techniques to suit lymphatic drainage, head and face massage, which benefit not only detox, stress, anxiety and sleep, but also promote youthful, healthy looking skin.
Josie believes every patient is unique, and will develop a treatment that will best suit each individuals’ personal needs.
