Your First Visit
Many of our patients have never seen a chiropractor before, and we understand that walking into a new clinic can feel a bit daunting. Our team will guide you through every step of the process — there's no rush, and questions are always welcome.
What to expect
Plan to arrive 15 minutes early to complete some short paperwork — or download and complete the forms beforehand to save time.
During this consultation we will talk through your full health history, current concerns, and what you're hoping to get from chiropractic care.
Depending on your situation, we may recommend X-rays (typically bulk billed with Medicare) to help us determine the most effective approach for you.
Where appropriate, your chiropractor will begin your first treatment. Your comfort matters — you're welcome to share any preferences about technique at any time.
Your first visit usually takes 30 to 45 minutes.
What to remember
- ✓ Arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment or complete patient forms online
- ✓ Let our reception staff know of any previous imaging (X-rays, MRIs, CT scans)
- ✓ Your DVA, GP or Workers Compensation referral (if applicable)
- ✓ List of current medications and supplements
- ✓ Your private health insurance card
- ✓ Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing
After your first visit
Once we've completed your initial assessment, we'll sit down with you and walk through your Report of Findings. We'll explain what we found, the underlying cause rather than just the symptoms, and how we may be able to help. From there, your care typically involves follow-up chiropractic adjustments, rehabilitation exercises and progress reviews — always tailored to your individual needs.
Are we the right fit for you?
If we feel chiropractic isn't the right approach for what you're going through, we'll be honest with you and refer you to another practitioner — whether that's your GP, a physiotherapist, or another specialist. Our priority is finding what's best for your health, even if that's not us.
Care is by recommendation, not contract — you decide what's right for you.

Private Health
We offer on-the-spot HICAPS claiming for all major health funds. Simply bring your card and we'll process your rebate at the time of your appointment — you only pay the gap.
DVA
We welcome Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) patients. With a valid referral, eligible veterans are fully covered with no out-of-pocket expenses. Please bring your referral and DVA card to your appointment.
Medicare
You may be eligible for up to 5 Medicare-rebated visits per calendar year with a GP referral under a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan — GPCCMP. Please bring your referral and Medicare card to your appointment.
CTP
We treat patients with CTP (motor vehicle accident) claims. Please contact us prior to your first appointment so we can assist with the paperwork.
